Class Attendance & Tardiness
Class attendance is very important. Missing classes and arriving late is unfair to your class-mates, your teacher, your parents and you. It requires a lot review to get caught-up with missed work. Please do your best to attend all classes. If you will be missing a class or will be late, please notify your teacher in advance.
Dress Code
The dress code will be very strictly enforced. Dancers who are not prepared, will not be able to participate in class.
General Rules
-No chewing gum.
-No loose jewelry or dangling earrings.
-No outdoor footwear in classroom.
-No food or drink in classroom, water is acceptable.
-We will not tolerate any disrespectful behavior, language or bullying of any kind. Each instructor reserves the right to dismiss a student from class for violating this rule. Students repeatedly displaying this type of behavior will be asked to withdraw from the program.
Good manners
-Instructors are to be addressed as "Miss" followed by their first name.
-Always give it your all. Remember, you dance the way you practice. Always practice as if you are performing for an audience
-Let your body language show your desire to learn.
-Give your complete attention to the teacher.
-Accept corrections with grace and a smile - your teacher is here to help you :)
-All classes will conclude with a reverence, followed by applause for your teacher, dancemates, and yourself. Upon exiting, thank your teacher.
