Teacher Assistant Program

Urban Dance Company's Teacher's Assistant Program is designed for mature, responsible dancers aged 10 and up (by December 31st 2020). This  program gives dancers the opportunity to help out with a class for the entire dance season, performing duties such as writing routines, tying shoes, helping out with music, taking attendance, etc. In addition to their assigned class(es), dancers will also have a monthly meeting for technique and theory. They will be given assignments and be tested to track their progress in the program. Attendance is very important  and dancers/parents should carefully consider this prior to committing.  

Dancers interested in this program must be registered in either  the Recreational or Competitive Program at Urban Dance Company. Previous dance training is a must. For more information, please contact us!
