Storm Cancellations
In the event of a possible storm cancellation, please listen to the radio or check our website prior to leaving home. We will do our best to contact everyone, however, this may not always be possible. Conditions will be monitored prior to class. If school is cancelled, classes might still occur.
Notifications
Notifications will be sent by talkmail and/or email. This includes possible weather cancellations. At the end of September if you have not received a confirmation email, please contact us to ensure that we have your proper email address.
Parents
During the first week of classes, parents of students ages 3-4 are welcome to sit inside the studio and observe the class. We ask that after the first week, you please refrain from coming inside the studio. We find the children are less distracted and pay more attention to the teacher when parents are not in the room.In an effort to keep our dance floor clean, dry and slip resistant, we respectfully ask that you refrain from entering the classroom in outdoor
footwear.
Payments
Methods of payment - Cash or Cheque
You may choose to pay in one lump sum (Save $20.00), make three payments, or pay monthly. All monthly payments must be made in the form of post-dated cheques. All post-dated cheques must be presented at the time of registration. For shorter programs such as 6 or 8 week sessions – payment must be made in full upon
registration.
In the event of a returned cheque, you will be charged an administration fee of $20.00. If we do not receive a payment to cover the full outstanding amount within 30 days, your child will not be permitted to attend class until the
account has been resolved.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy
1. Dancer withdrawals must be made in writing advising student's name, class and reason for withdrawal. The official date of withdrawal is effective upon receipt of written notice.
2. Urban Dance Company will issue a refund in accordance with the following refund policy:
a) following the first week of classes, full refund minus registration fee
b) following the second week of classes, full refund minus registration fee plus withdrawal penalty of one month
c) After Jan 1st, withdrawal penalty of one month, plus costume balance must be paid in full.
